DECKER: MC ROMANCE (Forsaken Riders MC Romance Book 9) Page 6

She rolled over and picked up her cell phone and to her delight, she had a text from Decker…

I can still feel your legs wrapped around me… I hope you slept well x

She felt her heart flutter and the smile spread wide over her face. He seemed to know exactly what to say to ignite something inside of her that was impossible to extinguish, and she was loving every second of it.

She bit her lip and pulled her knees up close to her chest, typing a quick reply…

I think my legs were made for being wrapped around you…

I look forward to the next time… x

She squealed as she hit send and then buried her head in her pillow. She had never been so forward with a man before, but something about the way she was able to be with Decker just felt so natural and right.

She jumped out of bed and looked in the mirror. Her skin looked revived and fresh, which was a surprise considering the amount that she had drank the previous evening. But the whole affair had definitely had a positive effect on her. She ran a comb through her hair and slipped on her short silk robe before she made her way toward the bedroom door. She knew that the conversation she needed to have with Tammy wouldn’t be easy, but she was going to have to be a true friend and lay it all on the line. And Tammy did deserve to know that Lynx had been asking about her.

She took a deep breath and made her way to the stairs. One way or another, she was about to come clean about Decker.

In the kitchen, Tammy was drinking a large mug of coffee and looked properly awake for the first time in weeks.

“Morning,” she said cheerfully. “What happened to you last night? I tried to wait up for you, but it got so late, in the end, I just had to go to bed.” She was flipping through a magazine and humming as she went, and Jamie felt even guiltier for having to potentially dampen her mood.

“Tammy, I have something to tell you…” she began. Her tone must have been grave because Tammy looked up at her with alarm and then slowly got to her feet.

“Oh my God,” she whispered. “What’s happened?”

Jamie shook her head and breathed out, trying to let her know that it wasn’t anything serious.

“Sorry,” she said. “I made that sound awful, didn’t I?”

“A bit,” Tammy laughed. “What’s going on?”

Jamie took a step further into the kitchen and found herself fidgeting nervously.

“I didn’t tell you, but a couple of weeks ago, when I was in the gym, I met someone… And last night, he came to the diner and stuck up for me when something horrible happened with one of the truckers… And he asked me out…” she broke off and could see that Tammy’s face was contorting into confusion, as if she had no clue what Jamie was going to say next. “So I agreed. We went to his usual hang out… The Bleeding Bullet.”

As she said the words, she watched Tammy flinched.

“Oh my fucking God…” Tammy gasped as she covered her mouth. “It’s Lynx, isn’t it?”

Jamie’s mouth almost hit the floor.

“Holy shit, no!” she shouted. “Of course it isn’t!”

Tammy breathed out a huge sigh of relief and sank back down into her chair. Jamie could see that her mind was racing and her breathing was rapid.

“Seriously, Tammy, of course it isn’t Lynx… But he was there… I saw him and, and…”

Tammy looked up at her with wide eyes and held her hand over her heart.

“He asked about you…” Jamie continued. “And he asked me to tell you that he hopes you’re all right… And that he’s thinking about you.”

Tammy’s eyes brimmed with tears and she nodded her head.

“Thank you for telling me,” she said. “I can tell you didn’t find that easy.”

“I just didn’t want to upset you…” Jamie said as she clasped her hands together. “It was weird, I could see something in him… And Decker said that he is suffering too… I don’t know, Tammy, I honestly think he wants you back.”

Tammy was staring down at the floor and she didn’t once look up to meet Jamie’s eyes.

“I don’t think he does, Jamie,” she whispered. “But I’m glad he asked about me.”

Jamie shifted on the spot and looked down at the ground.

“So, Decker…” Tammy continued. “Is it him you’re… you know…?”

Jamie felt a smile break out across her face even though she was trying all she could to hide it. Her cheeks blushed bright red and she found herself nodding like a school girl.

“Yes,” she beamed. “I met him in the gym a couple of weeks ago and, well, he came looking for me at the diner last night.”

She didn’t want to say much more for fear of upsetting her friend. But Tammy seemed to genuinely want to know, and Jamie sure wouldn’t mine talking about Decker some more.

“And what happened?” she asked as she sat forward and took a sip of coffee.

“Well, he asked me out after he saved me from some jerk trucker,” Jamie found herself rolling her eyes at the memory of the rude man who had made her feel like absolute shit. “In fact, if he hadn’t have been there, I honestly think I would have cried in front of half the town.”

“Jeez,” Tammy whispered. “That sounds awful.”

“It was, I’m glad you weren’t there to see it.”

“So am I,” Tammy nodded in agreement. “And you know what, I’m even more glad that you’re hooking up with Decker. He’s one of the good guys. He’ll treat you right.” She smiled with genuine warmth and it was as if she were giving Jamie her blessing.

“He seems like a great guy,” Jamie said. “But after what happened to you… I just…”

“Decker’s different,” Tammy assured her. “I mean, I know I fell hard and fast for one of his brotherhood, but I don’t know… there is something about him that was always deeper than the rest. I can’t explain it. I always got the impression that he wouldn’t put himself in any kind of relationship unless he wanted to be hundred percent in it for the long haul, you know?”

Jamie felt her belly jiggle with excitement.

“He did mentioned something like that,” she said as she looked off into space as she remembered how he had told her there was something else about her, how he had been waiting for the right girl.

“Well, by all accounts you’ll soon find out,” Tammy smiled as she drained the rest of her coffee cup and winked. “Enjoy it, I’m sure you’ll have loads of fun with him and meet some great people.”

Even though it easily could have been bitchy, there wasn’t a hint of malice in Tammy’s voice, she was being genuinely happy for her friend.

  “Thanks Tam,” Jamie smiled.

“I’m the one who should be thanking you,” she said. “For everything.”

Tammy got to her feet and smiled and wrapped her arms around Jamie’s neck and gave her a huge hug. It hadn’t been what Jamie had been expecting, but she was glad that Tammy was being supportive.

“I remember when I first met Decker and I always knew he would be something to a special girl one day… I could never understand why he wasn’t ploughing through half of the women in Slate Springs, he’s so goddam gorgeous, but he just never seemed interested in playing the field like some of the others.”

Jamie felt herself relax and smile again, that was exactly what she wanted to hear. She had hoped that Decker wouldn’t secretly have some kind of crazy reputation and that he had just been trying to pull the wool over her eyes.

“I’m going to go and get dressed,” she said. “And when I come back down, I want the full debrief on your date.”

As she left the room, Jamie felt a sense of relief, but also one of determination. Because now that she had seen how both Tammy and Lynx were about each other, she knew one thing for certain…

She and Decker weren’t only going to let their own relationship blossom… they were also going to get their friends back together.

  10.

Jamie was standing on the corner of Main Street, waiting in her little sk
irt and high heels for her sexy biker boy to come roaring around the corner and take her out into the desert.

He had called her that afternoon and begged to see her again, and she knew that she was powerless to resist. When she had seen his name flash up on her phone she had nearly done a back flip she was so ecstatic. She had held her cell in her hands and peered down at it, not wanting to appear too eager by answering it too early. But the suspense had almost driven her insane. She had finally answered on the fourth ring with a smile wider than she had ever known possible and when she had heard the sexy growl of his voice she had gone weak at the knees.

“I can’t stop thinking about you baby,” he’d said. “I’m gonna have to get me another fix sooner rather than later.”

Jamie had almost buckled as she had heard him say the words, and she’d clamped her palm over the receiver so that he couldn’t hear her little chirps of glee.

“Well okay,” she’d finally managed demurely after she had managed to calm herself down. “What did you have in mind?”

The other end had gone dead and she’d known that he would have been thinking the exact naughty thoughts as she was, but like her, he didn’t want to say too much, too soon.

“Let’s see where the night leads us,” Decker had finally said smoothly. “I’m sure we’ll find ourselves exactly where we’re supposed to be.”

Jamie had smiled from ear to ear and told him to meet her on Main Street, just so that they were away from Tammy and the house. After being so supportive and excited about the prospect of Jamie dating Decker, it hadn’t been long before her mood had nosedived and she had been miserable since Jamie had told her what had happened the night before. Jamie was determined that she wouldn’t to add to any of her pain, but at the same time she also knew that she had to look out for herself. This man could really mean something to her. And each time she heard his name, or saw it appear on her phone, she was feeling things that she had never felt before.

She could hear the roar of the motorcycle before she saw it, and as Decker came flying around the corner, she felt herself tingle with excitement. He looked so sexy and in control and he swooped up beside her and screeched to a halt. He winked at her from over the top of his aviators and swung his head back, motioning for her to join him. Those black eyes were engulfing her again, and it was as if they hadn’t been apart all day. She was transported directly back to where they had left off the previous evening, and when she remembered her sexy dream of him chasing her through the shadows she felt herself become moist.

Jamie tottered forward and Decker reached out and wrapped an arm around her back and pulled her close to him. He looked her up and down and breathed deeply.

  “You look edible,” he groaned.

Jamie felt a little twinge in her panties and she bit her lip. She reached up and smoothed down a stray strand of his dark hair. It was so thick and so coarse, she loved it. He was so masculine, so raw.

“Come on,” he said, “Let’s get out of here.”

He helped her climb on behind him and she wrapped her arms around his waist and breathed the scent of him in. It was the kind of smell that she would never get tired of. In fact, each time she caught it, it was becoming more and more addictive. She could sit and sniff him for hours, taking in all of his masculinity and letting it overpower her.

Decker revved the engine with a huge roar and pulled out into the traffic of Main Street. Jamie could sense that everyone on the street was watching them fly past and she got a giddy feeling deep inside of her. She always remembered seeing the bikers ride through town, sometimes with women clinging to them just as she was now, and she would always wonder what it must be like. Well, now she knew. And it was one of the best feelings in the world. She was suddenly free and released of all her inhibitions, and she would be forever grateful to Decker for changing her very wrong misconceptions of The Forsaken Riders.

He drove quickly out of town and they headed out into the setting desert sun. The air was warm and it whipped past them softly, almost caressing them, and making Jamie feel more alive than ever. She nuzzled into his back and couldn’t believe how much control over her that she was giving to him. He had her in the palm of his hand. Not just emotionally, but physically as well. One wrong move in that very moment and he could end her very existence. She was trusting him with her life.

Decker overtook trucks on the highway and weaved in and out of cars. It was like they were flying and she never wanted it to end. But as they climbed a sharp rise and started to come back down the other side, Jamie gasped as she saw the golden landscape before her.

“It’s beautiful,” she said to herself as she looked out at all the different colors the setting sun was casting across the mountains. They were pink and purple in parts, and golden in others. The shadows bounced off the light, and all of the jagged rocks made the world look like something alien and mystical.

Decker slowed the bike down and started to turn. He pulled off the highway and they started to ride across the bumpy, sandy ground, right out toward the mountains and to where Jamie was sure there was a canyon. She looked at all of the dry trees that were poking up from the cracks in the ground, almost skeletal amongst the arid land. And she wondered to herself why she never spent much time outside in nature. She loved it outdoors and she loved seeing her surroundings like this, it was almost like she forgot what was around her. And it made her sad to think of all she was missing.

Decker started to slow even more and Jamie could see that they were approaching the edge of a cliff. She dug her hands into his sides, willing him not to overshoot it, but he expertly stopped the bike and then turned to her and grinned.

“Not scared, are you?” he asked cheekily.

“I did wonder if you were actually going to stop, there for a second,” she laughed.

He climbed off the front of the bike and pulled off his leather jacket. Beneath it, Jamie could see that his tanned skin was glistening with sweat and he ran a hand through his hair as he slicked it back behind his ears.

“It’s so hot tonight,” he breathed.

Jamie felt herself grinning as she let herself take in the incredible sight in front of her. Sure, the canyon was beautiful, and it was taking her breath away, but nowhere near as much as he was. Seeing him there, in his low slung ripped jeans and his ripping muscles bulging out from beneath his vest, she was finding it hard to concentrate on anything else. The sun dipped down even more and a huge beam of golden light shone out toward them. Decker pulled her close to him and wrapped her arm around her shoulder before he turned them both toward the mountains and sighed.

“It’s beautiful, isn’t it,” he said. “Me and my brothers, we love the desert. All of us enjoy it in our own little way. But this place, well, this is my favorite.”

Jamie smiled and looked up at him. If only she could have ever imagined that he would have such a soft side to him. It was so endearing.

“I love it out here too,” she said. “I wish I spent more time hiking out on the desert trails.”

“Well, maybe that’s something we’ll do,” he said. “I can’t say I’m a hiker… But if you want to give it a go, I’m sure I can pull myself away from the gym for a few days and head out with you.”

Jamie nodded, “That would be really nice.”

She rested her head on his shoulder and they watched the sunset. As it slowly crept down behind the mountain, she felt so lucky to have met someone like Decker. It was still hard for her to believe that, after all she had thought of when it came to the bikers, she had got it so wrong. He was nothing like she had built up in her mind. And now that she had met Lynx, she had the feeling that he wasn’t as bad as she had concluded either.

Decker ran his fingertips up and down the base of her spine and she felt her skin tingle. There was a cool breeze in the air now with the sun going down behind the mountains, and it made her skin goose bump. With the addition of the pressure from his fingers, she felt her whole body react. Her nipples stood hard
and at attention, and she felt warm inside. She looked up to him and Decker looked down at her. When their eyes locked, she knew there was no way she was going to be able to pull herself away again. She had wanted him so badly the previous evening. And now that they were there in the most incredible setting, how could she even consider not letting him devour her.

“You’re so beautiful,” he whispered as he trailed his thumb along her bottom lip. “Do you know how much I’ve been thinking about you since that first day I saw you?”

Jamie shook her head as her breath caught in her throat. Her heart was thumping and all she could hear was the whoosh of her pulse in her ears.

“I’ve thought about you constantly,” he whispered. “And I’ve thought about what I want to do to you…” he trailed his fingertips down her throat and to her collarbone.

“I’ve been thinking about that too,” she admitted. “I didn’t even know that I had it in me… It’s just something you do to me. You make me want to let go of all my inhibitions.”

Decker pulled her face close to his and looked at her deep in the eyes. She felt a rush of excitement deep in her pussy and she could sense that his energy was rising. When he kissed her, his tongue searched her mouth slowly but with a hunger she couldn’t deny. She wrapped her arms around his neck and let him pull her right into him, and as he did, she could feel how turned on he was. The sharp poke of his cock stuck into her side stiffly and she had to stifle a moan as she became even more wet and in need of him.

Decker picked her up in his arms and she wrapped her legs around his waist. She felt tiny as he carried her backward and pushed her up against a tree so hard that she was sure she heard it crack. He reached up with his big, rough hands and cupped her breasts. She was clinging to him tightly as he moved back and forth, rubbing himself against her and sending her into a frenzy.

When he moved his hand down and lifted up her skirt, sliding his fingers into the side of her panties, she gasped and moaned as he rubbed her clit and he groaned as he discovered how wet she was.

“You’re so ready for me,” he breathed heavily, and he tore at her panties, ripping them off in one swift motion.
